Position of a Western Saddle

The first of our three Ps is Position. If the saddle is on the horse in the wrong place, the shapes don’t match and the saddle doesn’t fit – there. It may fit fine when moved to the proper position. Along with the blog posts about Position, here’s a link to a four minute video showing you how and where to position your saddle correctly – with the front of the bar tip behind the shoulder blade of the horse.
