This past week - outside

Posted by RodandDenise on April 18, 2012

We are no longer building saddle trees. We have two saddle fit videos available on our westernsaddlefit.com websiteWestern Saddle Fit - The Basics, aimed at riders, is available either on DVD or streaming on Vimeo while the six hour series Well Beyond the Basics, aimed more for professionals but understandable by anyone, is available by streaming on Vimeo. (We left this website up because we have had many requests to keep the information available.)

While the chickadee on the left who stays here year round wasn't thrilled, the junco on the right, making his way north for the summer, really wasn't happy...

And by Saturday afternoon, this is what we had...

Monday morning, we had a flock of these visit us.  I counted what I figured was at least 10, but it was hard to know as they kept darting across the snow to the bare patches under the trees.  Wonder why...

But it is melting, and up here in the north country, when spring is sprung, there is no going back.  So the trees are still drying outside, even if we have to shovel a place to put them!

(And yes, Rod is working on another exposed wood post horn, this time on a Modified Association fork.  But I'll write more about that later...)
