Artisan's Show at the Heritage Ranch Rodeo
We are no longer building saddle trees. We have two saddle fit videos available on our westernsaddlefit.com website. Western Saddle Fit - The Basics, aimed at riders, is available either on DVD or streaming on Vimeo while the six hour series Well Beyond the Basics, aimed more for professionals but understandable by anyone, is available by streaming on Vimeo. (We left this website up because we have had many requests to keep the information available.)
What, Where and When?
We have been invited to be part of the Artisan’s Show that is associated with the Heritage Ranch Rodeo, during Farmfair and just before the Canadian Finals Rodeo. It will be held at Northlands in Edmonton, Alberta and runs Sunday, November 6th to Tuesday November 8th. The doors are open to the public from 11 am to 7 pm all three days. We will be set up in rooms 107 and 107a, across from Hall F in the Expo Center.
Who?
The show includes saddle makers Andy Fadeeff (organizer), Dave Kallal, Steve Mason and Derek Pitts, rawhide braiders Wayne Beven and John Loree, silversmiths Richard Brooks and Kelly McRae , western photographer Kim Taylor and entertainer Matt Robertson, as well as us.
What else?
Along with the displays, each of the exhibitors has been asked to give a short presentation sometime during the three days. These talks will be in the same room as the exhibits. Our talk is set for 4:30 on Tuesday.
Come on by!
It should be a good show. The quality of work will be excellent. We are looking forward to hearing what the others have to say in their talks. It is always good to learn more about different areas of craftsmanship. There will be lots of good people to visit with and get to know too. And all this is besides the ranch rodeo!
We are really looking forward to the chance to be there this weekend. Please stop by and say hello if you are in the area. We would love to talk with you!
