We are no longer building saddle trees, but we have two videos about how Western saddles fit horses available on our westernsaddlefit.com website.

Side Saddle Trees

We build side saddle trees which can be used for Western side saddles or English looking side saddles.  Our bars are shaped the same as on our astride saddles, and all the Factors That Affect Tree Fit can be changed the same way on side saddle trees as on our astride saddle trees.  The seats are built to evenly balance the rider's weight side to side.  The leaping horn is attached with a reverse threaded bolt to tighten counterclockwise.  We have used both English stirrup bars and straight bars for the stirrups.
